Out Run Festival – Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing, holding, or using a ticket for the Out Run Festival (“the Festival”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Failure to adhere to these Terms may result in refusal of entry or removal from the Festival without refund.

2. Ticket Validity

  1. All tickets are unique to each attendee and must match the name of the person attending.

  2. All attendees must present valid photographic ID (passport, driver’s license, or government-issued ID) matching the name on their ticket upon entry.

  3. Ticket holder name changes are permitted but must be completed no later than 10 days prior to the start of the Festival.

  4. Tickets are non-transferable to other events and non-refundable, except as outlined in Section 9.

  5. The resale or attempted resale of tickets (at any price) is strictly prohibited. Tickets purchased via unauthorised vendors will be void and may be cancelled without refund.

  6. Tickets are only valid when purchased from official Out Run & Run Away Festival outlets or authorised ticket partners.

2b. Payment Plan Tickets

  1. By choosing to purchase a ticket via a payment plan, you agree to complete all scheduled instalments in full. By entering into a payment plan, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

  2. Once the first payment has been made, your ticket purchase is considered confirmed, and the payment plan cannot be cancelled, paused, or refunded under any circumstances. 

3. Admission

  1. Admission is subject to venue capacity and the discretion of the organisers.

  2. The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry or eject any attendee for, but not limited to: disorderly behaviour, intoxication, possession of prohibited items, non-compliance with these Terms, or conduct deemed unsafe or disruptive.

  3. Re-entry is permitted only with a valid and untampered wristband (see Section 5).

4. Age Restrictions

  1. The Festival is an 18+ event.

  2. Entry will only be granted upon presentation of valid photographic ID.

  3. Refunds will not be issued to individuals refused entry due to failure to meet the age requirement.

5. Wristbands

  1. Upon entry, all attendees will be issued a festival wristband, which must be worn securely at all times during the Festival.

  2. Wristbands are non-transferable and will not be replaced if lost, stolen, damaged, or tampered with.

  3. Removing or tampering with a wristband will invalidate entry and may result in removal from the event without refund.

  4. Re-entry will only be permitted with the original, untampered wristband.

5b. Wristband Balance Refunds

  1. Wristbands may be used for cashless payments throughout the Festival.

  2. Refunds for remaining wristband balances will be available after the Festival, within a refund window determined and communicated by the organisers.

  3. Ticket holders must apply for refunds within this stated window.

  4. Requests submitted after the refund window closes will not be processed, and any remaining balance will be forfeited.

5c. VIP Tables & Minimum Spends

  1. VIP table deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances.

  2. Any unused or leftover minimum spend amounts on VIP tables are also non-refundable.

  3. VIP bookings are non-transferable to other events or dates.

6. Prohibited Items and Searches

  1. Prohibited items include, but are not limited to: illegal substances, weapons, fireworks, glass bottles, drones, professional audio/video recording equipment, and any item deemed dangerous or disruptive by event staff.

  2. All attendees are subject to searches upon entry and throughout the Festival grounds.

  3. Refusal to comply with security checks may result in denial of entry or removal from the Festival without refund.

7. Event Changes

  1. The organisers reserve the right to make changes to the Festival schedule, lineup, venue, or operating hours without prior notice.

  2. Such changes do not entitle ticket holders to a refund or exchange.

  3. Any major updates will be communicated via official Festival channels.

8. Liability

  1. Attendance at the Festival is entirely at your own risk.

  2. The organisers, venue, and partners accept no responsibility for any loss, injury, or damage to persons or property, except where directly caused by negligence.

  3. Attendees are responsible for their own personal belongings. The Festival and venue will not be held liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged items.

8B. Lost Property

  1. Any lost property queries should be directed to info@runawayfestivalhq.com after the event.

  2. Items found will be held for a limited period and must be collected or claimed within that timeframe.

  3. The organisers do not guarantee the recovery or return of lost items.

9. Cancellations and Refunds

  1. In the event of a full cancellation or substantial alteration of the Festival, refunds may be issued at the sole discretion of the organisers.

  2. If granted, refunds will cover only the face value of the ticket and exclude booking fees, transaction fees, or any other associated costs (e.g. travel or accommodation).

  3. Refund requests must be submitted within the timeframe set by the organisers.

  4. In the event of a rescheduled Festival, tickets will automatically transfer to the new date and will not be eligible for refund.


10. Health, Safety & COVID-19 Measures

  1. Attendees must comply with all health and safety regulations in effect at the time of the Festival, including any measures required by Maltese authorities.

  2. The organisers reserve the right to implement reasonable health screenings, such as temperature checks or proof of vaccination/testing if mandated.

  3. Anyone displaying symptoms of illness or posing a potential health risk may be refused entry without refund.

11. Media, Photography & Recordings

  1. By attending the Festival, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded by authorised media.

  2. Such material may be used by the Festival and its partners for marketing, promotional, and archival purposes in any media worldwide, without further approval or compensation.

  3. Personal photography and filming are permitted for non-commercial use only, provided they do not obstruct staff, performers, or other guests.
